Job summary

Alamo Hospice in Waco, TX is seeking a PRN CNA to join our team. You will provide personal care, assist with activities of daily living, and support our compassionate care team on a flexible, on-demand schedule.

Shifts are as needed, including weekdays and weekends, 8a-5p in Waco. Candidates must be state-certified CNAs with CPR and a valid driver's license, and maintain a clear aide registry record; benefits include 401(k) with match, mileage reimbursement, and tuition assistance.

Qualifications

• Certified state CNA to provide quality patient care.
• Current CPR certification required.
• Clear record on state aide registry to deliver care.

Responsibilities

• Giving personal care including baths, back rubs, oral hygiene, shampoos and changing bed linens.
• Assisting in dressing and undressing patients.
• Planning and preparing nutritious meals, including shopping.
• Assisting in feeding the patient.
• Providing proper care and observation of patient’s skin to prevent breakdown of tissue.
• Reporting on patient’s condition and significant changes to the Case Manager.

What You’ll Do:
