Valley Manor Care Center in Montrose, CO seeks a compassionate CNA (PRN) to provide high-quality nursing care in a supportive team environment. This role includes assisting residents with daily activities, documenting care, and supporting meals and hydration, with emphasis on dignity and safety.

The position offers competitive pay from $20.87 to $25.15 per hour, a PRN schedule with variable days and shifts, and opportunities for career growth within VOANS.

Formación

• High school graduate or equivalent.
• State approved nursing assistant course completion/certification, or enrollment in approved course per state guidelines.
• Experience in the long-term care setting preferred.

Responsabilidades

• Assists residents with personal cares (bathing, dressing, grooming, oral hygiene, mobility, toileting, eating) and documents ADL data.
• Serves meals, assists residents with eating, and records intake; reports swallowing concerns to the nurse.
• Accurately documents vital signs and weights per facility protocol; performs other duties as directed by a nurse.

Pay Range: $20.87 - $25.15 per hour, based on previous working experience.

Schedule: This is a PRN position, days and shift times will vary, occasional weekends.

What We Bring (Requirements)

What You’ll Be Responsible For

• Nursing Care Functions:
  
  • Assists residents with personal cares, including bathing, dressing, grooming, oral hygiene, bed mobility, toileting and eating. Documents ADL’S appropriately.
  • Serves meals and assists residents with eating. Records accurate food and fluid intake as assigned. Reports any chewing or swallowing difficulty to the nurse.
• Documentation:
  
  • Accurately documents vital signs, weights, intake and output as delegated per facility protocol.
• Other duties as assigned or directed by nurse.
