Job summary

Valley Manor Care Center in Montrose, CO, is seeking a compassionate CNA for PRN shifts. Join a caring team and provide essential nursing assistance in a welcoming, community-focused setting. This paid opportunity supports residents’ well-being and offers growth within a dedicated organization.

We value teamwork and a supportive culture, with competitive pay ($20.87–$25.15/hour) plus a $1.50 evening/night shift differential. Schedule varies, including possible weekend days.

Qualifications

• High school graduate or equivalent.
• State approved nursing assistant course completion/certification, or enrollment in approved course per state guidelines.
• Experience in the long-term care setting preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist residents with personal cares (bathing, dressing, grooming, oral hygiene, bed mobility, toileting, eating) and document ADLs.
• Assist with meals, monitor intake, and report chewing/swallowing difficulties to the nurse.
• Document vital signs, weights, intake and output as directed by facility protocol.
• Other duties as assigned or directed by nurse.

Pay Range: $20.87 - $25.15 per hour, based on previous working experience. Plus, enjoy a $1.50 shift differential for evening & nights!

Schedule: This is a PRN position, days and shift times will vary, occasional weekends

What You Bring (Requirements)

• High school graduate or equivalent.
• State approved nursing assistant course completion/certification, or enrollment in approved course per state guidelines.
• Experience in the long-term care setting preferred.

What You’ll Be Responsible For

• Nursing Care Functions:
  
  • Assists residents with personal cares, including bathing, dressing, grooming, oral hygiene, bed mobility, toileting and eating. Documents ADL’S appropriately.
  • Serves meals and assists residents with eating. Records accurate food and fluid intake as assigned. Reports any chewing or swallowing difficulty to the nurse.
• Documentation:
  
  • Accurately documents vital signs, weights, intake and output as delegated per facility protocol.
• Other duties as assigned or directed by nurse.
