Job summary

Ambercare Hospice in Espanola, NM is seeking a compassionate PRN CNA to join our refreshed team. You will provide personal care, assist with daily living tasks, and support patients and families in their time of greatest need.

Responsibilities include bathing, dressing, meal assistance, skin care, and reporting changes to the Case Manager. A state nurse aide certification and CPR are required; valid driver’s license preferred for home visits.

Qualifications

• Certified by the state as a nurse aide.
• Maintains a current CPR Certification.
• Must be 18+ and hold a valid driver’s license.

Responsibilities

• Give personal care including baths, back rubs, oral hygiene, shampoos and changing bed linens.
• Assist in dressing and undressing patients.
• Plan and prepare nutritious meals, including shopping.
• Assist in feeding the patient.
• Provide proper care and observation of patient’s skin to prevent breakdown of tissue.
• Reporting on patient’s condition and significant changes to the Case Manager.

What You’ll Do
