Job summary

Southpoint Surgery Center, an affiliate of North Carolina Specialty Hospital, is a new ambulatory surgery center located between Raleigh and Durham in the Durham-Southpoint area. It offers a multi-specialty facility with Ortho, Spine, Ophthalmology, ENT and more, and emphasizes a welcoming, team-oriented culture.

We are seeking staff with CNA certification, BLS, and at least one year of hospital or ASC experience.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent with CNA certification required.
• CNA II certification preferred.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required.
• At least one year of experience in a hospital-based or ambulatory surgical center.
• Experience with medical records and computer skills preferred.

Southpoint Surgery Center (SPSC), an affiliate of North Carolina Specialty Hospital, is a new Ambulatory Surgery Center located between Raleigh and Durham in the Durham-Southpoint area. SPSC will provide a differentiated outpatient delivery model focused on providing high-quality, cost-effective solutions for surgical and related ancillary care for patients. SPSC is a multi-specialty 22,298 sq. ft. facility accommodating the following: Ortho, Spine, Ophthalmology, ENT, GYN, General, Urology, Plastics, Podiatry, Vascular, and Pain. • High school diploma or equivalent, with documented certification as a nursing assistant
• CNAI certification required; CNA II certification preferred
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required; certification must be through an AHA or ARC accredited course.
• At least one (1) year of previous experience in a hospital based or ambulatory surgical center
• Previous experience with medical records and computer skills preferred
