The Rehabilitation & Nursing Center at Everett is hiring a Certified Nursing Assistant for on-site care in Everett, MA. New grads welcome. Starting rate $18/hr, up to $19.17/hr with experience-based adjustments.

Qualifications

• High School Graduate OR Equivalent.
• A minimum of 1 year prior experience.

Responsibilities

• Assists in ambulation and transfers from and to bed, toilet, chair, stretcher.
• Assists or feeds resident(s) as indicated, serves water and nourishment.
• Offers and removes bedpans and/or urinals.
• Keeps incontinent resident clean and dry, changes linens and makes beds.
• Gives bed baths, tub baths, and provides skin care.
• Assists residents to dress and undress.
• Takes part of bowel and bladder rehabilitation program of the resident.
• Collects specimens and measures intake and output and keeps records of the same.
• Takes temperature, pulse, and respiration.
• Observes residents and notes changes or unusual findings to the Charge Nurse.
• Attends regularly scheduled in-service classes as required by HOME and MASAOH regulations.
• Cleans equipment and keeps rooms in order.
• Reports accidents or dangerous situations immediately.
• Performs other related duties as assigned
