Job summary

Delhi-Rehabilitation-and-Nursing-Cente is seeking a Nurse Aide for on-site work at one location in New York. The role requires NYS Certification and at least 1 year of prior experience, with pay in the $22–$23 per hour range. Shifts include day, evening, and night, with a benefits package and opportunities for growth.

The position emphasizes patient care, hygiene, mobility assistance, and observation under the supervision of a Charge Nurse, in a facility that values safety and confidentiality.

Qualifications

• High School Graduate OR Equivalent.
• A minimum of 1 year prior experience.
• Must have NYS Certification as Nurse Aide.

Responsibilities

• Assists in ambulation and transfers from and to bed, toilet, chair, stretcher.
• Assists or feeds resident(s) as indicated, serves water and nourishment.
• Offers and removes bedpans and/or urinals.
• Keeps incontinent resident clean and dry, changes linens and makes beds.
• Gives bed baths, tub baths, and provides skin care; maintains hair and oral hygiene.
• Assists residents to dress and undress.
• Takes part of bowel and bladder rehabilitation program of the resident.
• Collects specimens and measures intake and output; keeps records.
