Linwood Meadows Care Center in Visalia, CA is seeking a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) for the Full-Time PM shift. The role provides routine daily nursing care to residents under the guidance of nursing staff.

The salary range is $17.50 to $19.00 per hour, DOE, and includes a supportive environment that values teamwork, appreciation events, and opportunities to grow in a compassionate transitional care setting.

Qualifications

• Active California CNA certification or (preferred) CPR certification.
• Ability to read, write, and communicate effectively in English.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with compassion and professionalism.
• Strong teamwork and interpersonal skills.
• Physical ability to lift up to 25 pounds and assist with resident mobility.

Responsabilités

• Assist residents with activities of daily living (ADLs) including bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, mobility, and dining.
• Measure and record vital signs (TPRs), weights, and intake/output as instructed.
• Respond promptly to call lights and check residents unable to call for assistance.
• Observe and report changes in resident condition, skin integrity, or behavior to the Charge Nurse.
• Assist with admissions, transfers, and discharges as directed.
• Provide restorative and rehabilitative care under nursing supervision.
• Maintain resident rooms, equipment, and personal belongings in a clean and orderly manner.
• Follow infection control, safety, and confidentiality policies at all times.
• Report accidents, incidents, concerns, or potential violations immediately.
• Foster a warm, respectful environment for residents, families, and coworkers.

General Purpose

The Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) provides routine daily nursing care and services to assigned residents in accordance with each resident's assessment, care plan, and facility policies and procedures.

Supervisory Responsibilities

• This position has no supervisory responsibilities

Qualifications

Certificates, Licenses, Registrations

• Active California Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification required
• CPR certification preferred

• Strong teamwork and interpersonal skills

Physical Demands

• Ability to lift, push, pull, and/or move up to 25 pounds
• Frequent standing, walking, bending, and assisting with resident mobility
• May be required to assist during emergency or evacuation situations
