Job summary

The Pines at Placerville seeks a dedicated Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) for full-time evening shift (PM) 2:30pm–11:00pm at 1040 Marshall Way, Placerville, CA 95667. Starting pay is $21/hour DOE.

As a CNA you will provide daily nursing care, assist with ADLs, record vitals, and support residents with dignity, safety, and comfort. Collaborate with nurses and the care team in a warm, resident-focused environment.

Qualifications

• Active CNA license in California.
• CPR preferred.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide routine daily nursing care per care plans.

Position Summary

As a CNA at The Pines, you will provide routine daily nursing care and support services to residents in accordance with individualized care plans. You'll play a vital role in promoting resident comfort, dignity, safety, and overall well-being while working closely with nurses and interdisciplinary staff.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist residents with activities of daily living (bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, feeding)
• Measure and record vital signs, intake/output, and resident observations
• Respond promptly to resident needs and call lights
• Maintain accurate, timely documentation per facility policies
• Observe and report changes in resident condition to nursing staff
• Support admissions, transfers, and discharges
• Maintain a clean, safe, and calm resident environment
• Uphold resident rights, privacy, and confidentiality at all times
• Collaborate with team members to deliver high-quality care

Qualifications

• Active Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) license in the State of California
• CPR preferred
