Qualificações

• Requires GA CNA license and phlebotomy certification.
• High school diploma or equivalent and completion of a phlebotomy training program.
• Minimum 1 year of phlebotomy experience in geriatrics and active CNA certification in the state

Responsabilidades

• Performs CNA duties per job code 0101, Dept 6300 for HCC.
• Manages lab data collection systems for test requests, cancellations, and charges.
• Correctly identifies patients to prevent treatment errors.
• Performs blood collections from patients, primarily older adults.
• Processes, prepares and distributes specimens.
• Enforces infection control policies and safety procedures.
• Communicates with patients and staff, documents information accurately.
• Orders and maintains laboratory supplies.
• Keeps work areas clean and stocked.
• Maintains confidentiality of information.
• Coordinates with lab manager on lab issues.
• Works independently and in teams.
• Complies with OSHA, CLIA, and federal regulations.
• Maintains professional appearance and attitude.
• Other duties as assigned.
