Job summary

The role requires a Virginia CNA certification and CPR/BLS and First Aid certifications within 30 days of hire.

Qualifications

• Prior Nurse Aide work experience (Preferred).
• CNA certification is required and must be current per Virginia standards.
• CPR/BLS and First Aid certifications must be obtained within 30 days of hire.

Responsibilities

• Attends to all resident/guest personal hygiene and care needs.
• Organizes supplies needed to complete tasks.
• Observes residents for changing needs and reports to nursing/household leadership.
• Follows infection control, sanitation and safety standards.
• Participates in care planning and advocates for residents' preferences.
• Assists with personal laundry and maintains clean household spaces.
• Participates in meal preparation and service and supports activities.
