Job summary

Angels of Care Pediatric Home Health in Chapel Hill, NC is seeking Certified Nursing Assistants (CNA) and Home Health Aides (HHA) to provide one-on-one, in-home care for medically fragile children and young adults.

Qualifications

  • Must be at least 18 years old.
  • Active North Carolina CNA certification OR proof of completion of approved 75-hour Home Health Aide training in accordance with NC regulations.
  • Current CPR certification.
  • Current TB test or screening as required.
  • Valid government-issued identification.
  • Ability to read, understand, and follow written instructions.
  • Ability to document care accurately.
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.

Responsibilities

  • Assist patients with activities of daily living (ADLs) including bathing, personal hygiene, dressing, and grooming.
  • Assist with range of motion exercises and mobility activities.
  • Support patient comfort, safety, and well-being.
  • Follow care plans and caregiver instructions; document care as required.
  • Build positive relationships with patients and families; communicate observations to clinical staff.

Angels of Care Pediatric Home Health is hiring Certified Nursing Assistants (CNA) and qualified Home Health Aides (HHA) to provide one-on-one, in-home care for medically fragile children and young adults.

What You'll Do
  • Assist patients with activities of daily living (ADLs), including:

Qualifications

  • Ability to walk, stand, bend, kneel, and lift as required for patient care
  • Ability to assist with transfers and mobility activities

  • Ability to work in a home care environment safely and effectively
Preferred
  • Experience working with pediatric or medically fragile patients
  • Home health experience
Schedule & Flexibility
  • Full-time and part-time opportunities available

  • Day, evening, and weekend opportunities may be available
  • Consistent one-on-one assignments
