The Lake Cumberland Regional Hospital is seeking a Certified Nurse Aide for the Progressive Care Unit (PCU). The CNA provides basic patient care under RN/LPN supervision and supports a fast-paced nursing team to ensure patient safety and comfort.

This role requires a CNA certification in the state, BLS, and the ability to communicate changes in a patient’s condition. High school diploma preferred; willingness to work 3 x 12 night shifts (7p-7a).

Qualifikationen

• CNA certification in the state of practice is required.
• BLS certification required.
• Handle With Care certification preferred.

Aufgaben

• Provides basic patient care as delegated and supervised by an RN or LPN.
• Obtains and records vital signs, blood glucose measurements, and patient intake and output.
• Assists patients with activities of daily living (bathing, grooming, eating, toileting, ambulation).
• Observes patients and promptly reports abnormal findings or changes in physical, mental, or emotional condition to nursing staff.
• Maintains patient rooms and common areas clean, organized, and stocked.
