Job summary

Intensive Specialty Hospital is seeking CNAs, MHTs, and PCTs to join our LTAC team in Shreveport/Bossier City, LA. This role supports clinical staff by helping patients with ADLs, taking vital signs, and contributing to a compassionate care environment.

We offer a $1200 sign-on bonus, comprehensive benefits, 12-hour shifts, and a family-like team culture. Two Northwest Louisiana campuses provide diverse patient care experiences and room to grow within the LTAC setting.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or Equivalent
• One to two years nursing assistant experience, LTAC preferred
• Successful completion of certification program for nursing assistants
• Compassionate, interpersonal skills and enjoy helping others

Responsibilities

• Assist patients with ADLs and obtain vital signs on the medical floor
• Support medical staff in administering care to patients while hospitalized
• Promote safety, comfort, and a therapeutic environment for inpatient geriatric psych and adult detox patients

Intensive Specialty Hospital is a Long-Term Acute Care (LTAC) hospital. We provide cardiopulmonary care, ventilator and respiratory care, complex wound care, rehabilitation therapies, addiction medicine program, geriatric psychiatry program, multidisciplinary pain program, and outpatient counseling program. With two locations, Shreveport Campus and Bossier City Campus, we are the largest provider of LTAC services in Northwest Louisiana.

The Certified Nursing Assistant, Mental Health Techs, and Patient Care Tech roles are responsible for supporting medical staff in administering care to patients while being hospitalized. The duties of the Certified Nursing Assistant and Patient Care Tech include assisting patients with ADLs and obtaining vital signs on the medical floor. The duties of the Mental Health Tech include assisting patients with ADLs, obtaining vital signs, promoting safety, comfort, and a therapeutic environment for inpatient geriatric psych and adult detox patients.

Qualifications:
