We're hiring CNAs and PCAs to work one-on-one with our patients in Cherokee Village, AR | Hours: Evenings and Weekends along with Weekly Pay!

Responsibilities

Job Summary

The Home and Community Based Services Aide provides support and assistance with personal hygiene and household functions, enabling individuals to remain in their own homes.

Specific Job Duties/Responsibilities

• Reports observations of the client's condition to the Agency Director or accounts manager. Notifies the Agency Director immediately if any incidents or accidents occur.
• Drives safely, complies with traffic regulations, and wears a seat belt when required.
• Assists clients with activities of daily living, including bathing, hair care, oral care, nail care, skin care, and transfers.
• Assists with household tasks essential to clients' personal care.

Education and Experience

Experience Desired

• Prior experience in home care preferred.
• Successful completion of a competency evaluation.

License Requirements

• Current driver's license, vehicle insurance, and access to a dependable vehicle or public transportation.

State Specific Requirements

• AR: Must have completed a 40-hour aide training course approved by Arkansas Department of Health and be certified as a personal care aide.

Skill Requirements

• Ability to work flexible hours as required.
• Ability to work in any home situation regardless of client demographics.
• Ability to work independently.
• Good communication, writing, and organizational skills.
