Job summary

Palace Group is hiring a Certified Nursing Assistant to join our care teams across Kendall, Coral Gables and Homestead locations in Florida. The role focuses on delivering patient-centered care under the charge nurse, assisting with daily activities, vital signs, and safety protocols in long-term care settings.

The position requires compassion, reliability, and the ability to work well within a nursing team across multiple sites.

Qualifications

• Provides patient care under the direction of the charge nurse and assists the nursing team in maintaining the nursing and resident units.
• Provides personal care such as baths, showers, oral hygiene, skin care, hair care, fingernail and toenail care, monitoring fluid intake and output, toileting care, etc.
• Takes residents vital signs and blood pressure as indicated by nurse and promptly reports findings.
• Carries out all safety measures for residents and self in body mechanics.
• Prepare admission packets/supplies for new admissions.
• Previous experience in long-term care preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care under supervision.
• Assist with activities of daily living and comfort measures.
• Monitor residents and report any changes to the nurse.
• Maintain safety and sanitation standards in nursing and resident areas.
• Support the nursing team to ensure smooth unit operations.
