Job summary

The Asante healthcare system in Grants Pass, Oregon is hiring a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) for a 0.9 FTE, full-time role with a flexible schedule. The CNA provides direct patient care under RN supervision, upholding nursing standards and Asante's quality expectations.

Responsibilities include promoting patient safety and comfort, documenting care and teaching responses, and collaborating with CNAs and RNs to support the care team.

Qualifications

• CNA certification by the Oregon State Board of Nursing required at start.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required at start.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and perform other physical activities.

Responsibilities

• Become a vital member of the patient care team and support CNAs and RNs.
• Promote patient safety and comfort while supporting patient satisfaction.
• Document patient responses and effectiveness of teaching and interventions.
• Communicate effectively with staff, patients, and families.
