Job summary

Qualifications

• BLS/CPR certification required
• CNA certification required

Responsibilities

• Receives shift report from the RN and communicates the care plan to the assigned patients.
• Reports abnormalities to the RN as they occur and to the oncoming CNA.
• Assists with data collection for nursing history, vital signs, and functional status.
• Helps set realistic patient goals under RN directions and reports responses.
• Adheres to infection control and standard precautions to protect patients.
• Documents findings and patient outcomes with signatures and timestamps.
