Job summary

Cantex Continuing Care Network is seeking a Certified Nursing Assistant to provide direct patient care and support daily nursing tasks under established care plans. You will assist patients with routine needs, document observations, and report changes to supervising staff.

The role emphasizes patient safety, independence, and teamwork. Qualified CNAs must be state-certified, able to communicate in English, and capable of safe lifting and transfers.

Qualifications

• Must hold current state CNA certification.
• Ability to read, write, and speak English.
• Ability to lift, move, and transfer patients safely.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care per care plans and procedures.
• Document care activities and observations.
• Promote patient independence and quality of life.
• Communicate patient status to the Charge Nurse at shift start/end.
• Maintain a safe, clean care environment and proper equipment.
