Job summary

Cantex Continuing Care Network is seeking a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) to provide direct patient care under supervision, follow care plans, and support safety and comfort for residents in our Fort Worth, TX facility. The CNA will document observations, assist with activities of daily living, and collaborate with nursing staff to maintain quality patient outcomes and a compassionate care environment.

Qualified candidates hold a current state CNA certification, are able to read and speak

Qualifications

• Current state CNA certification required.
• Ability to read, write, and speak English.
• Ability to lift, move, and transfer patients safely.

Responsibilities

• Provide personal care to assigned patients per care plans and safety procedures.
• Document patient care activities and observations per policies.
• Promote patient independence and quality of life whenever possible.
• Communicate patient status and concerns to the Charge Nurse at shift start and end.
• Observe patient conditions and document relevant observations.
• Maintain a clean, safe environment for patients, visitors, and staff.
• Follow procedures for safe lifting and transferring patients.
• Keep care equipment and mobile devices clean, charged, and report malfunctions.
• Participate in in-service education and certification maintenance.
• Assist with incidental housekeeping to support a safe care area.
• Serve as a team leader and promote abuse prevention and patient safety.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
