Job summary

CommonSpirit Health's Glendale facility is seeking a CNA Patient Care Assistant (PCA) to join a dedicated patient care team. You will provide hands-on support to patients, assist nurses, take vital signs, help with ADLs, and maintain a clean, safe environment in a fast-paced hospital setting.

You will report changes to the licensed nurse, document care activities, and collaborate with interdisciplinary teams while complying with safety and infection control protocols.

Qualifications

• High School Graduate / GED required.
• California Certified Nursing Assistant License (CNA License) required.
• Basic Life Support Cert (AHA BLS Cert) required.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care under supervision of a licensed nurse.
• Take vital signs and assist with activities of daily living.
• Document care measures and report changes to nursing staff.
• Prepare and transport patients and equipment.
• Adhere to safety, infection control, and hospital policies.
