Responsibilities

• Provides patients' personal hygiene by assisting with baths, shampoos, and shaves; assisting with travel to the bathroom; helping with showers and baths.
• Assists with activities of daily living: serving meals, feeding as necessary; ambulating, turning, positioning; providing water and nourishment; recording intake/output.
• Provides patient comfort by transporting patients, answering call lights and requests, and reporting observations to nursing supervisor.
• Documents actions via forms, reports, logs; maintains work operations by following policies and procedures.
• Protects patient information confidentiality and adheres to professional standards and regulations.
• Updates knowledge through educational opportunities and reading to enhance the nursing department and hospital reputation.
• Performs other duties as requested by management.
