Job summary

Haven of Farmer City is seeking a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) for the Part-Time PM Shift. The position emphasizes compassionate, individualized resident care and teamwork to promote dignity and independence.

Responsibilities include assisting with ADLs, maintaining safety, and reporting changes in residents' conditions. A CNA certification and weekend availability are required; Haven supports a collaborative, respectful environment.

Qualifications

• The CNA candidate must have certification and meet state requirements.
• Ability to work every other weekend.
• Compliance with state Health Care Worker Background Check requirements.
• Proficiency in the technical skills required of a nursing assistant.
• Ability to relate positively to residents, families, visitors, and team members.
• Dependable and team-oriented approach to resident care.

Responsibilities

• Providing compassionate, individualized care to our residents.
• Assisting residents with activities of daily living, including bathing, toileting, dining, mobility, and positioning.
• Helping residents look and feel their best while encouraging independence and maintaining their highest possible level of function.
• Promoting resident safety by following proper infection control policies and procedures.
• Building positive relationships with residents, families, visitors, and fellow team members.
• Remaining calm and professional in stressful situations while maintaining a positive, 'can-do' attitude.
• Observing and reporting changes in residents' conditions as appropriate.
