Job summary

Covenant Living at Mount Miguel is seeking caring Certified Nursing Assistants (CNAs) to support residents in assisted living, skilled nursing and memory care. This part-time role offers AM and PM shifts with a variety of weekend coverage, focusing on compassionate direct care, daily living activities, and safe, dignified support in a faith-based community.

Ideal candidates hold a high school diploma or equivalent, have completed a state Nursing Assistant program, and are listed on the State

Responsibilities

• Reports to the nurse manager and may take direction from licensed nurses on duty or supervisory staff
• Provides direct care to residents daily
• Assists with activities, light housekeeping, laundry, and dining services
• Assists with personal care such as bathing, dressing, dental hygiene, toilet activities, grooming, feeding and transfers
• Maintains clean resident rooms and tidy spaces, including changing linens and organizing belongings
• Assists with resident laundry and notifies supervisor of clothing needs
• Prepares residents for meals, assists with serving and feeding when needed
• Possibly cross-trained to assist in Assisted Living

This is a Part Time position

Shift/Hours:

1st week of pay period: 6am-12:30 pm on Tues
4-10pm on Fri, Sat, Wed

2nd week of pay period: 6am-12:30pm on Fri
4-10pm on Fri, Wed and Thurs

Both AM and PM shifts are included, all 6 hour shifts

In this role the Certified Nursing Assistant will:

• Reports directly to the nurse manager, may also take direction from licensed nurses on duty or other supervisory staff.
• Provides direct care to residents on a daily basis.
• Position also assists with activities, light housekeeping, laundry, and dining services.
• Position is service in nature, in performance of duties the resident care assistant is entrusted to assist residents with basic personal care according to procedures and daily assignment.
• This includes but is not limited to bathing, dressing, dental hygiene, toilet activities, grooming, feeding, transportation/transfer, etc.
• Maintain resident rooms in a clean and orderly manner by providing light housekeeping, changing linen, making beds, putting away clothing and personal effects, tidying bedside table, shelves, closets, and cleaning bathrooms, etc.
• Assist with resident laundry assuring clothes are marked, clean and mended, ironed, and put away.
• Notify supervisor of clothing needs as they occur.
• Prepare residents for meals, assist with serving meals and feeding of residents.
• May be cross trained in Assisted Living.

The ideal candidate will have:

• High School diploma or the equivalent.
• Completion and passing the test for an approved Nursing Assistant program in the State.
• Listed on the State’s Health Nursing Assistant Registry.

Compensation Pay Range:
$19.42 - $26.18 per hour

Reasonable Pay Estimate
A reasonable estimate of the pay range for this position is $19.42 - $26.18 per hour. There are numerous factors taken into consideration in determining the actual offered rate of pay, including but not limited to: job-related qualifications, experience, skills, education, geographic location, and consideration of internal and external equity.
