Job summary

Stoneridge in Mystic, CT is hiring a part-time Certified Nursing Assistant to support residents in daily activities and care. Schedule includes 24 hours per week on the 2nd shift (3pm-11pm). Starting pay ranges from $20.50 to $24 per hour, with shift and weekend differentials.

Responsibilities include assisting residents with daily living activities, documenting care, and ensuring safety and comfort. Strong English communication and adherence to CT nursing aide standards are required.

Qualifications

• Successful completion of a State approved nursing assistant training program.
• Registration with State of Connecticut registry required.
• Ability to understand and follow instructions in English, communicate effectively, and perform simple arithmetic.
• Prior geriatric nursing aide experience is preferred.
• Ability to legibly track and document care given to each resident.

Responsibilities

• Assist residents with dressing, grooming, eating, bathing, positioning, turning, toileting and exercising.
• Administer treatments, perform tests, carry out procedures and collect specimens as instructed.
• Record observations and results of treatments, tests, procedures, and specimens as required.
• Transfer, transport, and escort residents as needed.
• Respond to signals promptly.
• Change bed linens, make beds and keep rooms clean and orderly.
