Job summary

ProPivotal's state-of-the-art nursing home in Chelsea, MA is seeking a strong CNA with prior nursing home experience for an overnight shift. The facility offers memory care and a tight-knit community that values camaraderie and high-quality care.

You will provide nursing care under RN/LPN supervision, record vital signs in Meditech, support residents with daily living activities, and communicate for social and emotional support while maintaining a safe, hygienic environment.

Qualifications

• Active or Current CNA certification in Massachusetts.
• At least 1 year of CNA experience in a nursing home.
• Availability for overnight shift (11pm–7am).

Responsibilities

• Provide nursing care under the supervision of an RN or LPN.
• Record vital signs and enter data into Meditech.
• Communicate with residents for assistance and social support.
• Maintain a safe and hygienic environment as part of care.
• Assist with activities of daily living (bath, dress, toilet, mobility).
• Gather information from caregivers, nurses, or physicians about patient condition.

Key Details

• Hours: Overnight shift 11pm - 7am
• Pay: $25/hour
• Location:Chelsea, MA. There are free on-site parking options and nearby MBTA access
• Setting: Nursing Home

Duties

• Provides exceptional nursing care under the direction and supervision of an RN or LPN
• Records vital signs, such as temperature, blood pressure, pulse, or respiration rate, as part of nursing care plan and enters data into Meditech
• Communicates with patientsfor assistance or social and emotional support
• Maintains a safe and hygienic environment as part of the patient
• Provides physical support to assist patients to perform daily living activities, including but not limited to, getting out of bed, bathing, dressing, toileting, standing, or walking.
• Gathers and documents information from caregivers, nurses, or physicians about patient condition

Requirements

• Active or Current CNA certification in Massachusetts
• At least 1 year of previous experience as a CNA in a nursing home setting
• Availability the overnight shift (11pm to 7am)

Preferred Qualifications

• Dementia Care Training (we can help you get certification)
