Job summary

BrightStar Care of Acton/Andover and Lowell is seeking experienced CNAs for live-in, overnight 12-hour shifts in Andover, MA. You will provide one-on-one in-home care, ensuring safety, dignity, and comfort for clients in their own homes.

Requirements include an active MA CNA license, 1–2 years of home care experience, overnight availability (9pm–8am), and strong communication skills. Background checks and references are required. Training and advancement opportunities are available.

Qualifications

• Active CNA license in Massachusetts.
• Minimum of 1–2 years of experience in home care, assisted living, or similar.
• Ability to work overnight shifts 9pm–8am (accommodations provided).
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Must pass background check and drug screening; provide references.

Responsibilities

• Assist with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs): bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, feeding, skin care.
• Provide mobility assistance, including transfers and repositioning.
• Perform light housekeeping tasks (laundry, tidying, changing linens).
• Prepare meals and assist with feeding as needed.
• Offer medication reminders and monitor vital signs.
• Ensure a safe, clean, and comfortable environment.
• Provide companionship and emotional support; follow care plans.
• Maintain accurate care records and communicate with supervising nurse.
