Responsibilities and Duties:

1. Provide meal preparation, light housekeeping, and/or provide companionship and personal care.
2. Learn about the client's interests.
3. Take time during the visit to engage the client in their interests.
4. Plan outings and trips to locations and events that are meaningful to the client.
5. Take an interest in the client's interests, desires, preferences.
6. Execute the client’s care plan as outlined by the Care Designer.
7. Help clients with their ADLs (Activities of Daily Living) that is within the scope of practice for a Certified Nursing Assistant.
8. Assist clients with transfers, ambulation, and exercises.
9. Meet the safety needs of the client and use equipment safely and properly.
10. Complete records and documentation accurately and thoroughly.
11. Transport clients as needed and required.

Requirements:

1. We provide care 24/7, so visits may be scheduled early morning, afternoon, evening, or overnight to meet our clients’ needs.
2. Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) or Home Health Aide (HHA)
3. Two positive professional references.
4. Background or Criminal Record Check with a Vulnerable Sector Search (updated every 5 years for continued employment).
5. Negative TB test (updated every 5 years for continued employment).
6. Ability to travel independently to client visits, transport clients when needed, with reliable transportation and proof of valid insurance.
7. Communication skills, both written and verbal at a high school graduate level.

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time, PRN

Pay: $16.00 - $20.00 per hour

Expected hours: 9 – 40 per week

Physical Setting: In the home.

License/Certification: CNA (Required), HHA (Required)

Location: Pinellas County, FL (Preferred)

Ability to Commute: Pinellas County, FL (Required)

Work Location: On the road
