Job summary

A senior care service provider in Port Charlotte is seeking compassionate caregivers to assist clients with personal care, companionship, and household tasks. Responsibilities include meal preparation, medication reminders, and providing transportation. Applicants should have a valid driver's license and be flexible, with a capacity to lift at least 25 lbs. Competitive compensation and training support are available in a flexible work environment.

Qualifications

• Valid driver's license and transportation for clients.
• Experience with dementia patients is a plus.
• Able to lift a minimum of 25 lbs.

• Prior experience with dementia patients and senior care, a plus!
• Must be able to be reached via phone or email for shift schedules, client updates and/or emergencies.
• Flexible and adaptable to new situations.
• Tolerance to small pets (i.e. dogs and/or cats).

• Laying out clothes and assisting with dressing
• Planning and preparing meals
• Providing medication reminders
• Providing transportation to and from appointments
• Helping family members learn safe care techniques

QUALIFICATIONS

• Ability to interpret the client’s provided plan of care
• Valid driver’s license and transportation
