Job summary

A home care service provider in Florida is seeking Companion Caregivers to provide companionship and personal care to clients. Responsibilities include assisting with daily tasks such as bathing, grooming, and meal preparation, as well as providing medication reminders and transportation. Ideal candidates are dependable, compassionate, and possess a valid driver's license. This position offers competitive compensation, flexible scheduling, and training opportunities.

Qualifications

• Must be able to lift a minimum of 25 lbs.
• Valid driver’s license and transportation required.
• Prior experience with dementia patients and senior care is a plus.
• Ability to be flexible and adapt to new situations.
• Tolerance to small pets (i.e. dogs and/or cats).
• Must be able to be reached via phone or email for shift schedules, client updates and/or emergencies.

• Laying out clothes and assisting with dressing
• Planning and preparing meals
• Providing medication reminders
• Providing transportation to and from appointments

• Ability to interpret the client’s provided plan of care
• Valid driver’s license and transportation
