Schedule: Full-time (36)
Shift : Days, 6 am- 6:30 pm 3 days a week. Weekends and holidays are required. This position supports a heavy ortho/trauma unit in Neuro-Joint-Spine.

The role you’ll contribute:
Provides direct and indirect nursing care under the direction of a RN and in accordance with policies and procedures. Assists the healthcare team in coordinating, prioritizing, and communicating patient, physician and staff needs. Assumes personal accountability for organizational mission and core values.

Assists with safe and appropriate delegated patient care tasks which are directly supervised by a RN. Provides person-centered care with sensitivity and respect for the human experience in a collaborative fashion with other team members.
Assists care team in achieving daily patient and family goals.
Provides quality patient care, including comfort and hygiene measures, preventative skin care, safety measures, transport, and nutritional and elimination needs.
Promptly triages and responds to patient call lights.
The expertise and experiences you’ll need to succeed:
Required qualifications:
High School GED or diploma
CNA - Certified Nursing Assistant Current in CO
BLS - Basic Life Support from the Amercian Heart Association (AHA)
Preferred qualifications:
Graduate of a Nursing Assistant Program
Six months previous CNA experience
Previous nursing unit secretary or medical office experience
