Job summary

Nebraska Medicine is hiring a CNA/Nursing Assistant for the Procedure Center in Omaha. This part-time role (20 hours weekly) supports licensed nursing staff by performing delegated patient activities to help meet individual care plans at Village Pointe.

Ideal candidates have a high school diploma or equivalent, at least 6 months of patient-care experience or nursing program enrollment, and must obtain BLS within 30 days of hire from an AHA-endorsed program.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 18 years of age.
• High school education or equivalent required.
• Six months experience in patient care required or must be enrolled in nursing program.
• Demonstrated effective communication skills required.
• BLS certification within 30 days of hire from an AHA-endorsed program.

Responsibilities

• Perform delegated patient activities as assigned by licensed nursing personnel for the achievement of patient`s plan of care.
• Assist with routine patient care tasks under supervision as needed.
