Position Summary & Highlights

Saint Alphonsus Regional Medical Center in Boise is seeking a Certified Nursing Assistant/Nursing Assistant/Nurse Apprentice to join our dedicated nursing team. The General Surgical Unit serves patients aged 18-100+ who have undergone or require surgical procedures or have experienced traumatic events, managing approximately 150-200 patients monthly. Working in this unit offers teamwork, respect, and a passion for nursing.

Responsibilities

• Support clinical staff by performing clerical, receptionist, and patient service tasks.
• Provide nursing care services and assist with personal needs and comfort of patients under the supervision of licensed nurses.

Minimum Qualifications

• Certified Nursing Assistant Certification issued by the State of Idaho OR current Nurse Apprentice application on file with the Idaho State Board of Nursing OR completion of Trinity Health Nursing Assistant Program.
• Basic Life Support certification from AHA, ARC, or Military Training Network at hire, unless certified in ACLS/PALS as per SAHS standards.
• Six months CNA experience in an acute care setting preferred.
• Ability to care for patients across all age groups (Neonate to Geriatric).
