Job summary

Visiting Angels of Reading is hiring a CNA Nurse Aide to care for seniors in the Reading area, including Sinking Spring, Wyomissing and nearby towns. You will support daily living activities and follow each client’s care plan to help maintain wellness.

We offer flexible schedules, routine training, and weekly pay with benefits. Must have a high school diploma and at least 6 months of caregiving experience, plus a valid driver’s license and reliable transportation to reach client homes.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Minimum 6 months of experience caring for seniors or disabled adults.
• Valid driver’s license, car insurance and reliable vehicle required for client transport.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills essential.
• Good time-management and ability to juggle multiple duties.
• Reliable transportation to client homes as scheduled.
• Comfort with housekeeping and cooking duties within dietary guidelines.
• Willingness to comply with state and office health and safety standards.

Responsibilities

• Assist clients with personal care and hygiene.
• Assist with light exercise or walks with clients.
• Plan and prepare meals with clients.
• Handle light housekeeping duties.
• Report health changes or incidents promptly.
• Provide companionship and emotional support.
• Respond quickly in emergencies and accompany clients to appointments.
• Remind clients to take medications as prescribed.
• Assist with mobility and transfers at home and during errands.
