Visiting Angels of Humble is seeking a compassionate CNA Nurse Aide to support clients in their homes across Humble and nearby communities. You’ll assist with personal care, mobility, meal planning, light housekeeping, and transportation, following individualized care plans.

Qualificações

Must be able to communicate clearly with clients and families.
Demonstrate compassionate, patient caregiving and active listening.
Reliable transportation to visit client homes as scheduled.
First Aid and emergency response training required or provided.

Responsabilidades

Assist clients with personal care and hygiene.
Support mobility and ambulation as needed.
Plan and prepare meals with clients.
Perform light housekeeping tasks.
Report health changes or incidents promptly.
Provide companionship and emotional support.
Accompany clients on errands and appointments.
Remind clients to take medications as prescribed.

As a Visiting Angels CNA Nurse Aide, you'll play a vital role in enriching the quality of life of clients and supporting their wellness in accordance with their custom care plans. This can include:

Helping clients with personal care and hygiene
Assisting clients with light physical exercise or walks
Planning and preparing meals with clients
Handling light housekeeping duties
Reporting health changes or unusual incidents
Providing pleasant, supportive companionship
Responding quickly and responsibly in emergencies
Accompanying and supervise clients during shopping trips
Reminding clients to take prescription medications appropriately
Providing assistance with mobility and ambulation both at home and during appointments/errands

Visiting Angels offers opportunities for advanced training in areas like dementia care and/or Alzheimer’s care for caregivers seeking to broaden their skills.

CNA Nurse Aide Job Requirements:

Possess a high school diploma or equivalent
Posses a Valid Drivers License, Car Insurance, and a Reliable Personal Vehicle to use to transport clients
Strong communication and interpersonal skills are a must
Training in First Aid and emergency response is required (provided if needed)
Have excellent time-management skills and can juggle multiple duties at once
Reliable transportation to get to and from client homes at the times you're scheduled to provide care
Feel confident in your physical endurance when it comes to things like carrying groceries and physically supporting a client
Feel comfortable performing housekeeping and cooking duties while adhering to applicable dietary constraints
Are willing and able to comply with state and office-specific health and safety standards (ex., background check)
Bring compassion, understanding, and a desire to brighten the day of each client to the table
