Job summary

PARKVIEW CARE CENTER in Denver seeks a Certified Nursing Assistant to deliver routine daily nursing care under supervision, following each resident's care plan. You will help ensure residents receive care with dignity while meeting standards.

Essential duties include continuous care and comfort, feeding support, personal hygiene, mobility assistance, safe transport, and accurate record-keeping in a long-term care setting.

Qualifications

• Experience: At least one year of previous work experience is desired.
• Education: High school diploma or GED.
• License: Current CNA certification or completion of CNA training.

Responsibilities

• Provide continuous care and comfort for assigned residents.
• Assist with feeding and track daily intake.
• Assist with grooming, hygiene, bathing and toileting.
• Help residents stand, walk, exercise, sit and lie down.
• Escort or transport residents to and from rooms and areas.
• Fill out and maintain patient records.

Certified Nursing Assistant Summary:

The Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) provides routine daily nursing care and services in accordance with the care plan of each resident based on established nursing care procedures and at the direction of supervisor. CNA also ensures resident's needs are maintained with highest degree of dignity. The primary responsibility of your job position is to provide each of your assigned residents with routine daily nursing care and services following the current federal, state and local standards, guidelines and regulations that govern long term care and assisted living facilities. You are entrusted to ensure that the highest degree of quality care can be provided to our residents at all times.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• Providing for the continuous care and comfort of assigned residents
• Feeding residents and accounting for their daily intake of food and liquids
• Assisting residents with their daily grooming and hygienic needs, including bathing, dressing and using the toilet
• Helping residents stand, walk, exercise, sit and lie down
• Safely escorting and/or transporting residents to and from their rooms and other areas of the facility.
• Fill out and maintain patient records
• Other tasks as assigned

JOB TRAINING

• How long it usually takes to completely perform this job when the incumbent has the minimum knowledge, skills, ability, work experience and/or education: up to 6 months
