Job summary

Atrium Health is seeking a Nursing Assistant to support patient care in a 36-hour work week, 7P-7A schedule with nights, weekends, and holidays as needed.

You will assist with daily patient care under RN supervision, document in the EMR, and participate in admissions and transfers to ensure smooth patient flow. Requires a high school diploma and a current Nurse Aide registration with BLS to be obtained within 45 days.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Nurse Aide licensure in good standing; BLS to be obtained within 45 days.
• Knowledge of infection prevention and patient safety procedures.

Responsibilities

• Assist RN with daily patient care (bathing, feeding, mobility).
• Measure and document vitals and intake/output in EMR.
• Promptly communicate observations to RN and document accurately.
