Job summary

Providence Portland Medical Center is seeking a Certified Nursing Assistant for the Medical Surgical Unit on a .9 FTE night shift (7pm–7:30am, 3 shifts per week) with rotating weekends. You will work under an RN to deliver direct patient care per the care plan and support a high-functioning team.

The role requires OS/Nursing Assistant certification and BLS, with opportunities for education and professional growth within Providence's comprehensive benefits program.

Qualifications

• Oregon Nursing Assistant Certification License upon hire.
• National Provider BLS - American Heart Association upon hire.
• Experience in hospital or long-term care setting preferred.

Responsibilities

Certified Nursing Assistant – Medical Surgical Unit at Providence Portland Medical Center. This posting represents a .9 FTE, night shift opening (7pm-7:30am, 3, 12 hour shifts per week) with rotating weekends.

The Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) provides direct patient care under the supervision and direction of an RN, utilizing the care plan. The CNA assists a Registered Nurse (RN) in providing comprehensive nursing care by performing specified duties and functions under the direct supervision of the RN.
