Job Summary
The Certified Nursing Assistant (C.N.A) functions within the Scope of Practice outlined by the Maryland Board of Nursing. The C.N.A assists the Registered Nurse and interdisciplinary team in the safe delivery of quality patient care, while supporting unit operations.

Unit Description:
Our 33-bed adult and geriatric telemetry unit provides specialized care for patients who require continuous cardiac monitoring during their hospital stay. We care for a diverse patient population, including those with cardiac conditions, stroke, renal disorders, and post-surgical needs requiring cardiac monitoring.
Our team is dedicated to delivering high-quality, patient-centered care in a collaborative environment where nurses develop storing assessment, critical thinking, and cardiac monitoring skills. Working closely with physicians, therapists, pharmacists, and care management, we provide comprehensive care while supporting one another as a team.

Additionally, all of our nurses receive their NIH stroke certification training along with advanced life support certification while working on the unit.

Pay is based on experience, skills and education. If position is part-time, salary will be pro-rated based on scheduled hours. The pay range may also vary within the stated range based on specialty if applicable. Non-Exempt positions may have shift differential and/or Overtime paid, if applicable.
