Scottsdale CNA Job Responsibilities

Responsibilities vary by client. Duties may include:

MAINTAIN INDEPENDENCE

• Drive seniors to appointments, meetings, and church services.
• Assist seniors with trips to local Scottsdale markets.
• Enjoy lunch or ice cream outings with your clients.

RESTORE DIGNITY

• Assist with bathing and grooming to keep clients looking and feeling their best.
• Manage incontinence care with sensitivity.
• Perform light housekeeping to reduce stress at home.

KEEP HEALTHY

• Prepare meals to maintain vitality.
• Remind clients about medications to prevent hospital readmissions.
• Ensure safety with memory care practices.

SUPPORT OTHERS

• Assist with physical therapy exercises.
• Observe and report hospice care changes.
• Report any changes in client condition.

CNA Job Requirements

Requirements include:

HEART FOR SENIORS:

• Genuine desire to work with seniors.

ABILITY TO WORK:

• Typically 8 or 12-hour shifts in Scottsdale.
• Overtime may be available.

SENIOR SAFETY:

• Pass criminal background check.
• Pass drug screening.
• Negative TB test.

TRANSPORTATION:

• Reliable vehicle.
• Proof of auto insurance.
• Valid driver’s license.
