Job summary

The Legacy Senior Communities in Dallas, TX seeks a Certified Nurse Assistant to support residents in the Assisted Living and Memory Care settings under the Director of Nursing. You will respond to signal lights, assist with bathing, dressing, toileting, feeding, mobility, bed repositioning, and monitoring vital signs per clinical directions.

Texas Nurse Aide certification and a minimum of six months' experience are preferred; we offer competitive pay, comprehensive medical/dental coverage, PTO

Qualifications

• Nurse’s Aide certification in the state of Texas.
• Minimum 6 months of work experience preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Answers signal lights, bells, or intercom system to determine residents' needs.
• Bathes, dresses, and undresses residents.
• Assists with toileting of residents/patients.
• Serves and collects food trays and feeds residents requiring help.
• Transports residents or assists residents to walk.
• Turns and repositions bedfast residents, alone or with assistance, to prevent bedsores.
• Changes bed linens, runs errands, directs visitors, and answers telephone.
• Takes and records temperature, blood pressure, pulse and respiration rates, and food and fluid intake and output, as directed.
