Job summary

Oakdale Seniors Alliance is seeking compassionate Certified Nursing Assistants (C.N.A.s) to join the Memory Care team at Robin Run Village in Indianapolis, IN. You will provide hands-on personal care, assist with daily activities, and offer companionship tailored to residents living with cognitive impairments.

Qualifications

• CNA certification active in Indiana (required).
• CPR/BLS certification preferred.
• Experience in memory care, assisted living, or long-term care is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct resident care with dignity during ADLs.
• Perform memory-support activities and gentle redirection.
• Monitor and report vital signs and changes to nursing staff.
• Assist with transfers, mobility, and positioning using safe practices.

Our Assisted Living Memory Care unit is designed to provide a secure, engaging, and supportive environment tailored specifically to residents living with Alzheimer’s, dementia, and other memory challenges.

The Role

We are seeking heart-led, patient, and dependable Certified Nursing Assistants (C.N.A.s) to join our Memory Care caregiving team.

In this role, you are the heart and soul of our residents' daily lives. You will provide hands‑on personal care, assist with daily activities, and offer gentle encouragement and companionship tailored to residents living with cognitive impairments. Key Responsibilities

• Direct Resident Care: Assist residents with activities of daily living (ADLs), including bathing, dressing, grooming, hygiene, and dining, with high dignity, patience, and care.

• Specialized Memory Support: Implement specialized dementia-care techniques to create a calm, structured, and safe environment; assist with redirection and gentle crisis de‑escalation as needed.

• Vital Signs & Observations: Monitor and record vital signs, daily care tasks, and fluid/food intake; promptly report any physical or behavioral changes to the unit LPN or Charge Nurse.

• Mobility & Transfer Assistance: Help residents transfer safely, walk, and position comfortably using proper body mechanics and equipment.

• Companionship & Engagement: Engage residents in meaningful daily activities, conversations, and social routines that promote cognitive stimulation and emotional well‑being.

Qualifications

• Certification: Active, unencumbered Certified Nursing Assistant (C.N.A.) certification in the State of Indiana.

• Certifications: Current CPR / BLS certification preferred.

• Experience: Prior experience as a C.N.A. in Memory Care, Assisted Living, or Long-Term Care is preferred, but compassionate candidates with a strong desire to work with memory care residents are encouraged to apply!

• Skillset: Deep empathy, exceptional patience, strong reliability, and a calm, reassuring approach when working with residents living with memory loss.
