Job summary

White Horse Village in Newtown Square, PA is seeking Full-Time Certified Nursing Assistants for Memory Care. You will assist residents with bathing, dressing, meal service, mobility, and daily living activities, while following care plans and reporting changes to the nursing team.

Qualifications

• High school diploma and PA CNA certification required.
• At least one year of direct patient care experience; long term care preferred.
• Must be able to lift/move patients and stand for long periods.

Responsibilities

• Assist residents with bathing according to their preferences and care plan interventions.
• Assist with toileting and incontinence management; report changes to charge nurse.
• Assist residents with dressing and clothing care to ensure daily clean attire.
• Provide personal care when the resident is unable due to health status.
• Take meal orders and deliver meals to residents unable to come to dining room; ensure satisfaction.
• Assist residents in restorative nursing programs by performing ROM exercises and aiding transfers.
• Report accidents, incidents, abuse allegations, or changes in ability to the nurse immediately.
• Provide comfort care during terminal stages of life.
• Record temperatures, pulses, respirations, weight, and other vitals as required.
