Job summary

Benchmark Senior Living seeks a compassionate Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) to deliver high-quality care to residents in a warm, home-like setting. The role focuses on daily living activities, documentation, and emotional support to residents and families.

As part of a dedicated team, you will engage residents in meaningful activities, report changes in health to the care team, and contribute to a supportive community atmosphere.

Qualifications

• Valid CT CNA license is required.
• Prior experience in a skilled nursing or assisted living setting is preferred but not required.
• Experience working with residents with dementia is desired.

Responsibilities

• Assist residents with activities of daily living (bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting).
• Document care provided and report changes to staff promptly.
• Engage residents in meaningful activities and provide emotional support.
• Apply customer service skills to ensure high-quality resident care.
• Other duties as needed by the team.

We are looking for a compassionate CNA to join our team! As a Certified Nursing Assistant, your main role will be to deliver care to our residents within a warm, comfortable, and home-like environment.

CNA Duties & Responsibilities

• Assisting residents with activities of daily living, such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting
• Documenting care provided and reporting any changes in resident health or behavior to appropriate staff.
• Engaging residents in meaningful activities and providing emotional support.
• Utilizing customer service skills to ensure that residents receive exceptional and meaningful care.
• Other duties as needed.

Requirements

• Valid CT CNA license required
• Prior experience in a skilled nursing or assisted living community is preferred but not required
• Previous experience working with people with dementia is desired
