About the Opportunity

TheMedicationAideadministers prescribedmedications and treatments to residents who need assistance in accordance with state regulatory stipulations and requirements for safe administration. Observes the resident taking themedication, notes effects including any unexpected or adverse effects, correctly documents the required information in the residents’medicationadministration records, communicates any concerns or observations with the Wellness Director, Wellness Coordinator, or designated personnel. TheMedicationAidealso supports residents with activities of daily living including personal hygiene, socialization, cognition, and physical health. Encourages resident independence, supports resident choice, and preserves resident dignity through professional conduct and interactions.

We are looking for full-time and part-time staff on all shifts; this would include availability every other weekend and every other company recognized holiday.

Critical Success Factors

• Successful completion ofmedicationassistance training in compliance with the state’s regulatory requirements and facility requirements.
• Maintains up-to-datemedicationcertification requirements according to state regulations.

Preferred Qualifications

• Prior direct care experience preferred.
• High school diploma or GED.
• Meets age requirements according to facility policy and state regulations.
