Job summary

St. Anthony North Hospital in Denver, CO is seeking a Certified Nursing Assistant to provide direct and indirect nursing care under a Registered Nurse. You’ll contribute to a patient-centered mission with compassionate, safe care and opportunities for professional growth.

You’ll perform routine nursing tasks, document vitals, assist with activities of daily living, and collaborate with a supportive care team in a Magnet-designated program committed to quality and compassionate care.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Graduate of a Nursing Assistant Program.
• State registered CNA license.
• Six months CNA or healthcare experience preferred.
• CPI Training if with M-1 holds; CPI training preferred.
• Previous customer service experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide quality patient care including comfort and hygiene measures, skin care, safety, transport, and nutrition.
• Promptly answer call lights and report patient status changes to the RN.
• Accurately document vital signs, input/output, nutrition, hygiene, weights, and other care; report findings.
• Maintain confidential patient charts and records.
• Assist with delegated patient care tasks supervised by the nurse.
• Provide person-centered care with sensitivity and teamwork.
• Communicate concerns about hazards or errors to the health care team.
