Job summary

Southwest Health is seeking a part-time CNA to join our inpatient team. The role provides clerical and patient care support across hospital departments, with primary duties on the inpatient unit.

The CNA works nights, under the supervision of the House Supervisor, contributing to safe, high-quality patient care and smooth staffing operations. The position emphasizes familiarity with medical terminology, healthcare experience, and solid computer/office skills.

Qualifications

• Must be current and in good standing on the Wisconsin Nurse Aide Registry.
• Certification in Basic Life Support (BLS) is required.
• Familiarization with medical terminology and prior health care experience.
• Knowledge of basic office procedures/equipment and computer systems.

Responsibilities

• Provide clerical and patient care support in hospital departments.
• Reside on the inpatient unit and assist based on patient activity and staffing needs.
• Work under the direction of the House Supervisor.
• Contribute to delivering high quality, safe care to patients.

Job description

Work Hours

We are seeking a part-time (24 hours/week) C.N.A. to work nights from 5:00pm-5:30am, every Wednesday and Thursday. No weekend rotation. Holidays are worked if they fall on these scheduled days.

Job Summary

The CNA provides clerical and patient care support services to Hospital clinical departments. The CNA resides on the Inpatient unit but performs work in other patient care areas as needed based on patient activity and staffing needs in order to assure the goal of providing high quality, safe care to all SH patients. Works under the direction of the House Supervisor.
