Corewell Health’s Troy Hospital is hiring for a full‑time Med Surg Care Unit CNA observer role on 4N. You’ll care for patients under the plan of care, assist with transfers, document in the electronic medical record, and support safe observation duties as needed.

Requirements include a high school diploma or equivalent, hospital or nursing home experience preferred, BLS from AHA/ARC, and CNA certification preferred.

Qualifications

• High school graduate or equivalent.
• Previous hospital or nursing home experience preferred.
• American Heart Association or American Red Cross Basic Life Support required.
• Current CNA certification preferred.

Responsabilités

• Provides care to the patient according to the plan of care, unit routine and hospital policy under the direction of a Registered Nurse.
• Safe transport of patients via wheelchair or stretcher, dispatch services and appropriate documentation of services.
• Provides the services of an Observer for any patient on a patient care unit who requires constant observation, either in person or via remote video monitoring.
• Performs general receptionist and clerical duties and documents care provided in the EMR.
