Job summary

Maywood Senior Living in Illinois is seeking compassionate Certified Nursing Assistants (CNAs) to join our care team. You will provide hands-on care, support residents with daily activities, and promote dignity, independence, and comfort in a welcoming senior living environment.

You will work closely with our nursing team on day and night shifts, comply with infection control and safety policies, document vital signs, assist with meals, and communicate effectively with residents and families.

Qualifications

• Current Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification in the State of Illinois
• High school diploma or equivalent preferred
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Dependable attendance and ability to work scheduled shifts
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Basic computer and documentation skills
• Preferred: experience in senior living or healthcare settings
• Preferred: direct care to older adults or individuals with disabilities

Responsibilities

• Assist residents with activities of daily living (ADLs), including bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, and personal hygiene
• Assist with mobility, transfers, repositioning, and ambulation
• Obtain and accurately document vital signs as directed
• Assist residents during mealtimes and provide feeding assistance when needed
• Provide companionship, emotional support, and encouragement
• Observe residents and promptly report changes in condition, behavior, or needs to the nursing team
• Respond promptly and professionally to resident call lights and requests
• Assist with changing bed linens, restocking supplies, and other resident care needs
• Maintain a clean, safe, and comfortable resident environment
• Follow infection control, safety, confidentiality, and community policies
• Communicate effectively with residents, families, nurses, and other team members

Schedule: Full-Time | 12-Hour Shifts
Day Shift: 7:00 AM – 7:00 PM
Night Shift: 7:00 PM – 7:00 AM
3.5 Days per Week | Every Other Weekend Required

Required:
