Job summary

Pioneer Senior Living at Upland Park in Huntsville, AL is seeking a Male CNA or experienced male Caregiver for an ongoing senior care assignment. You will provide hands-on personal care and mobility assistance for a client.

This role requires at least 2 years of caregiving or an active CNA certification, reliable transportation to Huntsville, and comfort with pets. Hoyer lift experience is required and you must be able to lift over 50 lbs and assist with mobility.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years caregiving experience or an active CNA certification.
• Comfortable working around and with pets.
• Hoyer lift experience is required.
• Able to assist with mobility and personal care tasks, including transfers.
• Willing to provide care in a home setting and be available for ongoing scheduling.

Responsibilities

• Provide hands-on personal care and mobility assistance to the client.
• Assist with wheelchair transfers, gait belt use, and related tasks.
• Monitor client safety and report changes to supervisors.
• Maintain cleanliness and dignity of the client during care.
